About the Oglebay Festival of Lights
Each winter, Oglebay Park in Wheeling, West Virginia, lights up one of the region's best-loved holiday traditions: a six-mile driving route through the park's hills, lined with illuminated displays. For many Pittsburgh-area families, churches, and friend groups, the trip to Oglebay is how the season begins.
The 2026 Festival of Lights runs November 5, 2026 through January 3, 2027, opening nightly at dusk, with a suggested donation collected at the entrance to the driving route. Greene Valley Shuttle turns the evening into a private Christmas lights bus tour — door-to-door from Pittsburgh, Washington County, and the surrounding area, with a professional chauffeur on the winter roads so your group can simply enjoy the lights.

The 2026 season runs November 5, 2026 through January 3, 2027, including holidays. The six-mile driving route opens nightly at dusk. December weekends reserve first; weeknights offer the most availability.
How far is Oglebay from Pittsburgh?
Oglebay Park in Wheeling, West Virginia, is roughly an hour's drive from Pittsburgh. Your group is collected at home, church, or the office and returned to the same door at the end of the night.
How many people can ride together?
Party buses seat 14, the Ford E-350 shuttles seat 15, and the Ford F-550 shuttle seats 27. Larger groups can reserve multiple vehicles traveling together.
